Kate GAYNOR MD
Dr. Kate Gaynor is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Yale University with a major in Anthropology and attended Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons for her medical degree. Dr. Gaynor completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Washington in 2004.
From 2004 to 2006, Dr. Gaynor served as an officer in the Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), assigned to the Disease Outbreak Control Division of the Hawaii Department of Health. Dr. Gaynor remained at the Hawaii Department of Health after completing her CDC assignment, working in epidemiology and emergency preparedness until 2011. Dr. Gaynor also practiced medicine in Hawaii at the Schofield Barracks Family Medicine Clinic and Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Centers. She was a member of the Hawaii Disaster Medical Assistance Team with which she responded to the 2009 tsunami in American Samoa.
Dr. Kelly Xia MD, MS
Dr. Kelly Xia graduated with a bachelor of medical science, a master and a doctor degree in Pediatric in China. She completed her internship and residency in China. Dr. Xia has also studied Pediatric Hematology, Oncology in Medical College of Georgia in the United States for three years. She is an experienced pediatrician who specialized in Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and General Pediatrics, and is a member of the Chinese Pediatrician Association. Dr. Xia was awarded the title of Professor of Pediatrics in China. She received a Grant of National Medical Science and has also published more than 20 papers in medical journals.
Alfred HU YOUNG MD, FAAP, FACC
Dr. Alfred Hu Young received his medical degree from the University of Virginia Medical School in 1975. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Virginia and his fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Iowa, where he developed expertise in managing conditions related to congenital cardiac defects and cardiac conditions in children and adolescents. Before joining Qingdao United Family Hospital, Dr. Hu Young was the administrative medical director of the Congenital Heart Center in the Children’s Hospital of Illinois, where he also served as an expert in pediatric cardiology. Dr. Hu Young has over 30 years of clinical experience specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac problems in children and adolescents. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Hu Young has been an invited lecturer at international conferences and has been widely published in medical journals, most recently in Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Hu Young is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and also by the Sub-Board of Pediatric Cardiology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and also of the American College of Cardiology.
