The research group will start from 1st of April of 2011. We are looking for a highly motivated post-doc who is interested in studying biological functions of intrinsically unfolded regions in the protein degradation and aggregation through a combination of protein and cell engineering technique. Candidates should have, or be expecting to receive, a PhD in protein science, biophysics, cell biology, or a related field.

Qualifications
1. PhD degree in protein science, biophysics, cell biology, or a related field
2. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills in either English or Japanese

Salary
3,574,800 JP yen (around $42,000 per year)
Term of Employment
1 year contract with possible extension period of up to 4 years, depending on the performance
