The jobholder is the product owner (Mini-CEO) of a product line or segment. In this function the in-cumbent is responsible for developing the product according to untapped market needs, taking into account the framework the product will be placed into and developing the market to make it recep-tive for this new technology.
Product Management is responsible for product planning and product support throughout the prod-uct lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the Product vision, and working closely with Product Development, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Training, Sales, Marketing and MarCom to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Product Management’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company´s overall strategy and goals.
Requirements / 要求
Education / 教育背景
Degree in Science (Optics, Medical Technology or similar disciplines), Engineering, MBA or equivalent in Business Administration. Medical major as a plus
Experience /经验
3-5 years experience in product management, marketing or clinical in the healthcare industry with minimum of 2 years working for an international company (MNC); Should feel comfortable working in a matrix organization.

Strong business sense and market development experience Knowledge of optics and/or micro-surgery a plus
Speaks Mandarin fluently and holds advanced proficiency in English; other languages are a plus

Job Description
Main Tasks / 主要任务
Strategic and operational support of product development:
Drive product innovation and, after launch, product lifecycle management
Define product requirements, offering, guide development processes
Provide coordination & technical support during product registration processes
Sustaining and product life cycle, including product phase-out
Global market segmentation and targeting
Product positioning and pricing
Competitor analysis
Performing value analysis of functions and features
Identification of new market segments and elaboration of diversification strategies
Together with Business Sector Management and the Product Strategy Team, develop long-term strategic product roadmaps and plans

Obtain and evaluate information on relevant developments and trends in the market as a basis for adjusting the positioning concept and the strategic measures in the company by spending time with customers, evaluating lit- erature, visiting tradeshows and conferen
