职位描述

岗位职责: • Establish unity within the Section, bridging cultural divides; • Model leadership and teamwork within the Department; • In line with the Department Chair, Chief Medical Officer or designee and General Manager develop a vision within the Department that facilitates increases activity, complexity and scope of service; • In line with the Hospital strategy, develop and implement programs for growth – to reflect increase activity, complexity and scope of service; • Assist the development of the Department Budgets in line with existing processes, to carry out the strategy and to optimize efficiencies; • Make recommendations for maintaining and evaluating and improving the quality of care provided in the Department by developing pathways and clinical guidelines in a collaborative manner, and ensure application and integration of them within the Department; • Assist development of a quality monitoring and quality improvement program. Implement quality control and quality indicators that address the services provided in their department. • Assist the preparation and implements departmental policies, procedures and plans • Actively be involved in patient complaints, and review peer review cases in an adjudication role; • Support talent acquisition, recruiting and training of physicians, and lead performance review and improvement as needed, including the setting of goals across the department for both individual and group targets; • Maintain oversight of the performance of department staff; • Ensure ongoing medical education for the medical staff in the Department; • Work closely with the department chair and facility Regulatory Officers to ensure practice patterns meet and conform to regulatory requirements within China and Beijing Municipality; • Work closely with facility Regulatory Officers ensuring that appropriate employees are kept informed of developments within the regulatory environment, including planned and existing regulations; • Enforce medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, and policies within the Department, and initiate investigations of clinical performance or order consultations, when necessary; • Generally participate in every phase of administration in the Department, such as cooperating with nursing services and administration in matters affecting patient care, including personnel, supplies, special regulations, standing orders, and techniques; • Meet regularly (at least monthly) with the department chair designee; • Where relevant, support UFH Centres, including research, training, disaster relief, and primary care. • Where relevant, assist in new development projects. • Perform any duties as may be requested by the department chair or designee during the department chair’s absence; 任职要求: • Doctor of Medicine degree (or equivalent) from an approved school of medicine • Board Certified (or equivalent) in ……………………… • In possession of an active Chinese Medical License; • Minimum 3-5 years of previous experience at a clinical administrative level preferred; • Previous leadership positions/training held in similar sized (or larger) environment. • Must be a full member of the Medical Staff as defined in the Medical Staff By-Laws; • Previous experience, training and working knowledge of management techniques with proven successful service within a medical staff structure preferred; • Fluency in English essential; Chinese fluency preferred
