Emergency Physician (MJ001775)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Examine, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic diseases and minor injuries of children (above 3 years of age) and adults in the emergency room • Obtain careful history, examine patient, and determine indication for clinical laboratory tests and imaging studies. • Interpret test results and evaluate examination findings • Prescribe treatments and medications according to assessmentand provide patient education • Determine the need to refer to specialist for further medical care and treatment • Keep accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with regulations and policies.  • May be granted additional privileges based on documented proficiency • Will agree to serve on at least one hospital committee • Work on quality improvement activities within the department in collaboration with other emergency physicians and Department Chairperson • Keep medical knowledge up to date via CME and medical activities • Participate in marketing and business and development events as required by the Chief of Service EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES： • Provide high quality medical care to patients focusing on Chinese speaking patients older than 3 years old • Advocate for patients’ welfare by having patients’ needs foremost in his/her clinical activities • Work collaboratively with colleagues, nurses, support staff, administration • Possess problem-solving skills and constructive approach in the workplace • Exhibit professionalism and ability to de-escalate and solve conflicts • Demonstrate a commitment to self-learning • Work closely with the Department Chairperson in supporting departmental goals • Navigate within and contribute to Jiahui’s healthcare system and its development
